PETRONAS Syntium Team 2011 Season

We Settle For Nothing Less Than Victory.

The smiles on the faces of the champions at PETRONAS Syntium Team just got wider after a successful 2011 racing season.

PETRONAS Syntium Team retained their competitive edge when they clinched their fourth consecutive Super Taikyu championship title, winning it in 2008, 2009, 2010 and recently in 2011. It was an honourable 1-2 overall finish for the team as both BMW Z4M Coupe cars dominated the ST-1 class all year.

2011 also saw a highly commendable Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race achievement for PETRONAS Syntium Team when the Mercedes-Benz SLS GT3 cars completed the 12-hour race with a double podium finish in first and third. 

This marked the Mercedes-Benz SLS GT3's first ever victory in long-distance endurance racing worldwide and PETRONAS Syntium Team was rewarded for its achievement with the "Best Racing Performance" award at the AMG Customer Sports Season Finale.

The roots of the PETRONAS Syntium Team can be traced back to more than two decades ago in Malaysian and Asian touring car and superbike racing.
